Royal Media Services Limited wishes to recruit a competent, capable and financially astute individual who has a successful track record of leading a team of debt executives to maximize the performance levels of the debt management section.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the person will be responsible for maintaining a complete debt collection portfolio and leading a team to resolve debt issues. He/she will act as the team lead in liaison between the sales team and customers in managing overdue accounts.

The candidate should have a diplomatic but assertive style that consistently yields results, and be someone who always displays a professional manner when showing people how to pay off their debts.

Key roles responsibilities

  • Timely collection of company debts.
  • Liaison with the commercial team, legal office and external debt collectors for recovery of debt
  • Handling client queries and responding on time while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Convene and chair regular debt collection meetings;
  • Supervise debt executives;
  • Reviewing the arrears of clients.
  • Negotiating settlements with clients.
  • Maintaining appropriate and comprehensive records of all customer discussions.
  • Reporting periodic progress against targets to the supervisor.
  • Improvement and automation of debt management processes;
  • Academic, professional Experience and person specification
  • Degree in a financial field.
  • CCP (Certified Credit Professional) Part II qualification and above or equivalent.
  • Five years experience in a busy corporate environment in a similar role
  • Knowledge of proper ethical debt collection techniques.
  • Ability to quickly build a picture of customers’ personal circumstances and needs.
  • Strong negotiating, counseling, and problem solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites Word, Excel and Access.
  • Ability to be discreet while working with confidential information.
  • Able to work well as a team and on own initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Having a keen sense of urgency.
  • Excellent listening ability and superb questioning techniques.
  • Always accurate and on time in completing duties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Debt Executive(4 Positions)

Reporting to the Debt Manager, the person will be responsible for maintaining the assigned debt collection portfolio, and working with clients to resolve debt issues. He/she will act as the liaison between the sales team and customers in managing overdue accounts.

Key roles & responsibilities

  • Recovering money from people who have over- run their credit limits.
  • Working with Credit Controllers to contact debtors to pursue payment.
  • Making outbound collection calls to debtors.
  • Reducing the outstanding debt owed to a company.
  • Responding to telephone inquiries using standard scripts and procedures.
  • Working with debtors to work out payments plans.
  • Following up clients on previous payment arrangements.
  • Locating and establishing contact with debtors.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date customer account information.
  • Daily banking and processing received cheques and cash.
  • Reviewing the arrears of clients.
  • Negotiating settlements with clients.
  • Maintaining appropriate and comprehensive records of all customer discussions.
  • Reporting periodic progress against targets to the Team Leader.

Academic, professional Experience and person specification

  • A relevant degree in a financial field and CCP (Certified Credit Professional) Part I as a minimum.
  • Three years experience in a busy corporate environment
  • Knowledge of proper ethical debt collection techniques.
  • Ability to quickly build a picture of customers’ personal circumstances and needs.
  • Strong negotiating, counseling, and problem solving skills.

ASSISTANT TRAFFIC CONTROLLER – TV

Role:
Effective scheduling, planning, monitoring and billing of all sales orders through efficient liaison with other departmental sections.

Tasks:

  • Scheduling all incoming approved sales orders through Commercial Transmission Schedule.
  • Updating the daily sales performance report.
  • Cross checking the external monitoring reports against our in-house back- up system to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconciliation of transmission reports with respective clients to ensure proper invoicing is done by finance department.
  • Coordination of invoicing with finance department at the end of every month.
  • Preparing transmission reports for clients that are not monitored externally.
  • Resolution of client queries regarding transmission in liaison with the respective sales executives.
  • Coordination of sales production jobs through communication between production, sales and transmission teams.
  • Ensuring all materials booked are available in the system and tally with the order details.
  • Keep clear and up-to-date filing records for future reference.

Academic and professional Experience

  • A degree or diploma from a recognized University/College
  • Proficiency in video editing
  • Good computer knowledge
