Chemutai Goin is an experienced News Reporter with demonstrated skills in written communication and research. She has a proven history in the industry with more than 8 years of professional experience.

Her stories mainly focus on Politics and Governance, current Affairs and also on developmental journalism.

She is skilled in Live reporting, Writing and Producing Feature stories, Editing, Public Speaking, Moderating events among others.

She is a bilingual reporter (English and Kiswahili)in Kenya’s leading media station.

Goin’s journey started at the Kenya Television Network (KTN) where she did her internship. The experience entrenched the strong desire to be one of the few female political reporters. The opportunity gave her a chance to meet powerful individuals and build her network base.

In 2017 though working for a different media house traversed 47 counties covering the campaigns for the General Election, this gave her a chance to interact with different people and continue expanding her network base and also build around ideas for her stories.

Goin hopes to focus her energies in impact journalism through the political lens with a view of challenging the political players to transform lives of the people they represent.

She also hopes that through her work, she is able to educate the voter to make sound decisions.
