Due to the rise in the current cancer cases in Meru, Muuga FM partners with Meru Hospice during their cancer awareness campaign. It is usually held during the Cancer Month October every year.

The event runs in all nine sub-counties of Meru and there after a Fundraising Walk which we support. Muuga FM supports Meru Hospice which is a charitable trust fund that is committed to reduce the suffering of individuals with incurable diseases especially cancer. Because cancer is causing suffering to hundreds of people and families; Muuga FM creates awareness within the community about cancer prevention, the need for cancer screening and the opportunity to get care, especially at home. The cancer fundraising walk helps in raising funds to help the cancer patients.
